Soccer for Summer 2009

Action shots of the boys practicing soccer before a game. They really have improved and played hard this summer. James is playing in the Kohl's Cup tournament this week and doing well. Donovan's team is practicing hard for the state cup in Kenai starting on August 10th.

Flying Kites

This is some of the fun activities that we did together as a family this summer. Donovan helped his brother and sister get the kites into the air. Typically in Fairbanks you can't really fly kites since there isn't much wind.

Donovan's Graduation

Of course this is way behind, I was unable to find the cord to connect our camera to our computer. Donovan had a great day graduating from 6th grade.

Easter Fun

We had an Easter egg hunt on Saturday with the primary . There
were so many eggs out in the snow. We had a lot of people show up for this activity and everyone had so much fun!

The second picture is the boys teaching Allison how to do jump rope. She loved it and didn't want them to stop.

James & Donovan

I thought this was so hilarious. I truly love being a mother and not missing these moments.

James's pine wood derby

I am trying so hard to keep adding things to our blog. As you can see from the picture James is the ham of our family. Always wants to make everyone laugh.

Orchestra Concert

This was Donovan's second year being in Honors Orchestra, his third playing the Chello. He seemed to be very at ease this year. He tends to get nervous easily, just like me. He will be playing the Chello while in Junior High School next year as well, orchestra is offered as a year long program.

Mexico

I had to share these pictures of Mexico. We had the most amazing time there, and of course I should have taken more pictures. The sun feels so amazing there, how could anyone feel anything but happiness there.

This is the kids club area of the all-inclusive resort. You could drop the kiddos off at 9 am to play and pick them up at 6 pm. They keep the kids busy with so many activities going all day. They had 3 different areas for the kids to play at.

Here is some of the view of the Gulf of California or what the locals call the "Sea of Cortez".
